Spirit Days

Every Wednesday, kids wear their JAE spirit wear for class participation to win most spirited. Every 3rd Wednesday is a themed Spirit Day where kids can dress to the theme or wear JAE spirit wear.

Running Club

Held Friday mornings from 8-8:25am, Running Club promotes student fitness and school spirit while kids run laps on the black top with friends to music. Parent volunteers are needed to help scan laps, monitor kids and guide them to their classes (TK/K). Kids will receive charms for each mile run (6 laps = 1 mile) and special charms are given out certain Fridays.

Frozen Treats

Frozen Treat Sales are Wednesdays at 1:30pm in the Jackson Ave MPR. Most selections are $1, small popsicles 50 cents.
Come join your classmates and neighbors and enjoy frozen treats after school in front of Jackson Ave Elementary.
Proceeds go towards 5th grade Science Camp!

Fun Run

The Fun Run is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Each fall, all of our TK-5 students run laps and collect donations to earn money for our school. Particpants have the chance to win Boosterthon prizes by reaching registration and pledge milestones. These donations help fund Jackson Ave assemblies, classroom supplies, program, and technology.

Spring Carnival

Held every spring, the carnival is our biggest event of the year! Enjoy carnival games, concessions, silent auction, bounce houses, food trucks, dunk tank, photo booth, and more. An evening of fun for the whole family right here at Jackson Ave.

Movie Night

Bring your blankets and low back chairs for a free movie night in the Jackson Ave MPR. Water, popcorn, and candy are sold by the PTO to raise money for school programs. This is a family event and children must be accompanied by an adult. Usually held 2x/year.

Multi-Cultural Night

Come celebrate the amazing diversity at Jackson. Performances, crafts, and flavors from 15 countries. Fun for the whole family! Souvenir “passports” and meal tickets are sold by the PTO to benefit the school.

Holiday Gift Shop

This is a fun, holiday-themed event on campus where students get to shop and wrap gifts for family and friends. Gifts ranges from 25 cents - $20.

Family Night Out

JAE PTO coordinates with local eateries for families to enjoy dine-in or take-out food. A percentage of sales is given back to the school for programs like 5th grade science camp and other school educational needs.

Family Bingo Night

Hosted by Granada Supporters Club at Granada High School, Family Bingo Night is fast becoming a PTO favorite. Play for prize baskets and the school with the highest attendance wins a bonus cash donation. Prize money goes toward 5th Grade Science Camp.

Book Fair

Join us during conference week for our Scholastic Book Fair! Students will explore books during class library time, and families can attend two special events. Funds raised go towards new library books and read-a-thon prizes. Volunteers are needed to help students choose books.
